• The brake calipers, which have also been redesigned to allow for one-finger braking, are not only stiffer but also much lighter. They feature an improved structure that improves the fit for all hand sizes and provides easy access to smooth, powerful braking from any point on the handlebar.
• The Paceline X rotor combines the proven, smooth-running friction ring of the Paceline rotor with the lightest aluminum spider SRAM has ever produced.
• The new Red AXS rear derailleur has become even lighter and more efficient. With a wide variety of cassettes, ranging from 10-28T to 10-36T, this wireless wonder features larger pulleys to reduce chain articulation and increase efficiency, as well as an Orbit fluid damper to keep everything in place on the roughest terrain. Compared to the previous version, SRAM engineers were able to save 16 grams
• The Red AXS front derailleur ensures fast, precise and quiet shifting in all conditions. It uses Yaw technology with electronic adjustment to ensure the fastest possible gear change. In addition to a revised gear cage, another new feature is compatibility with all SRAM X-Range 2x chainrings from 46-33 to 56-43 teeth.
• The new SRAM Red chain has been redesigned from the ground up. The unique flat plate design has made the chain narrower, lighter and stronger.
• The batteries integrated into the rear and front derailleurs have a range of over 1,000 kilometres.
